All-inclusive packages range from around $800 per person for a budget resort to $3,000+ per person for luxury properties. Be realistic about what you want to spend — and remember that a higher-rated resort often means better food, service, and overall experience.

• Families with kids: Choose resorts with kids' clubs, water parks, and family-friendly activities
• Groups of friends: Large resorts with multiple pools and nightlife options work well
• Solo travelers: Resorts with active social scenes and organized activities

Mexico is generally the best value. The Caribbean offers more variety in scenery and culture. Aruba and Turks & Caicos are pricier but deliver exceptional quality.
